Getting started
Is Guidera free?+
Yes — free to download with generous free use. A subscription unlocks unlimited tours and longer-form narratives.
Which devices does it support?+
iPhone (iOS 18+), with full Apple Watch and Live Activity support. iPad works too. An Android version is on the roadmap.
Do I need an account?+
No. You can use Guidera anonymously. An optional account lets you sync favorites and history across devices.
On the road
Does it work offline?+
Saved tours and previously visited places work offline. Generating new narratives requires a connection.
Which languages are supported?+
9 languages, with native-sounding voices in each. You can switch languages anytime.
Can I choose a guide style?+
Yes — from concise to deeply academic, from local-friend casual to art-historian formal. Pick a persona, dial the depth.
Will it drain my battery?+
It's designed to be light. Pocket your phone, lock the screen, and Guidera continues narrating with minimal drain.
Privacy & data
Do you sell my location data?+
No. Never. Location is processed to surface nearby places and improve narration relevance — and that's it.
Where is my data stored?+
Account data is encrypted at rest. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Can I delete my data?+
Yes, anytime, from inside the app. We honor full account deletion.
